LYV®️ Triple offset butterfly valve are manufactured with high standard. We control the quality of the casting to make valves far superior to similar products in the industry. LYV®️ Triple offset butterfly valve use high quality metal + graphite multi-layer sealing ring, which enables the valve to be used under high pressure and high temperature conditions. We also provide different sealing options for different working conditions, such as PTFE or metal-to-metal. LYV®️ Triple offset butterfly valve has a unique design(optional) that allows valve to be under constant pressure from both-side and zero leakage, as known as the bi-directional butterfly valve. What is Triple offset butterfly valve:

Triple offset butterfly valve gets its name from the three eccentricities on the sealing design. Unlike traditional butterfly valves, which only have a simple rotation disc to shut-off. Triple offset butterfly valve included three eccentricities to close valve linearly until tightly shut-off. The difference between the centerline butterfly valve and the triple offset butterfly valve lies in the method of achieving sealing. The centerline butterfly valve achieves sealing through the compression of the sealing surfaces, while the triple offset butterfly valve achieves sealing through contact between surfaces. This is what we call the difference between line sealing and face sealing. Therefore, the service life of the triple offset butterfly valve will be better than the traditional concentric butterfly valve.

What are the three eccentricities on triple offset butterfly valve:

The first eccentricity is the valve shaft is positioned offset from the centerline of the valve body.The second eccentricity is the valve shaft is positioned slightly off the perpendicular axis to the plane of the valve seat.The third eccentricity is the sealing surface of the disc is designed in a conical shape that allow the disc to fully disengage from the valve seat without any friction.
