LYV® High performance butterfly valve adopt double offset disc with floating seat design, can withstand pressure comes from both sides of pipeline and keeping its excellent sealing performance. LYV®️ High performance butterfly valves are available for wafer, flanged and lug style end connections. Depending on the medium property and temperature, consider in specific applications. The seat can be selectable from PTFE, RTFE, FKM, PEEK or metal seat likes Inconel, or stainless steel with chromium alloy or STL overlaying. What is High performance butterfly valve:

The high-performance butterfly valve was created for many of complete and special conditions before the regular butterfly valve couldn’t meet requirement from end users anymore. The double offset and seat design allowed the butterfly valve to be used in many applications and wide range of industries. Including steam, hydrocarbons, high-temperature applications and high-pressure applications. The high performance butterfly valve usually made with PTFE seat that can handle chemically reactive and corrosive mediums. This type of valve also has excellent performance in service life and operating torque, which is reflected in it could withstand frequently and quick operating.

What is difference between high performance butterfly valve and triple-offset butterfly valve:

Compare with high-performance butterfly valve. Triple-offset butterfly valve has an additional offset on the sealing surface, which like is a section of eccentric cone. This additional cone angle on the disc allows valve could shut-off with low friction. Regarding to production, triple-offset butterfly valve has less parts than high performance butterfly valve. Factories can control the cost lower than high-performance butterfly valve. In applications, triple offset butterfly valve similar as high-performance. And can produce high temperature and high-pressure butterfly valves with lower cost. However, the service life and performance of triple-offset butterfly valve are not comparable to high performance butterfly valve.
