What is Swing check valve:

swing check valve is a one-way valve consists of a valve body, a valve disc or flap, a valve seat and sealing components. Its purpose is to allow fluid flow in one direction while preventing fluid flow in the opposite direction. Swing check valves are frequently used in piping systems to regulate the direction of fluid flow.

How does it work:

When fluid flows in the intended direction, its pressure opens the valve flap, allowing it to pass through. This opens the way. However, if the fluid tries to flow in the opposite direction, its pressure will cause the valve flap to close and push against the seat, preventing reverse flow..
